Equipment

band, stable step, stable support

  1. Secure a light resistance band beneath a stable low step and hold its handle at your hip. Use your other hand on a stable support.
  2. Place the heel of one foot securely near the step's front edge with the forefoot free, and lift your other foot.
  3. Keeping the heel supported, raise your toes toward your shin through a small comfortable ankle movement.
  4. Lower your toes slowly without shifting your heel or bending your knee. Repeat on the other side.

Choose a comfortable range and use secure equipment. The illustration is a movement reference; stop if a movement causes pain.
