Equipment

stability ball

  1. Sit securely on a suitable stability ball on a non-slip surface with one foot flat on the floor.
  2. Extend the other leg forward with its heel on the floor, toes pointing upward and knee comfortably straight.
  3. Keep your back long and lean forward slightly from your hips until you feel a mild stretch behind the extended thigh. Rest your hands lightly on your thighs without pressing on the knee.
  4. Hold without bouncing, return upright, then change legs. Keep the ball and your seated support controlled throughout.

Choose a comfortable range and use secure equipment. The illustration is a movement reference; stop if a movement causes pain.
